![(House, M.D., Season 8; Episode 22, dir. David Shore)[Everybody Dies]SERIES FINALE^SPOILER ALERT!^ So this is it. The finale of finales. How do I review an episode that ties up an entire eight year storyline? I won’t try to. All I will say is that I was happy to see so many cameos from past cast members: Kutner, Amber, Stacy, Masters, Cameron, Remy, and Blythe. Also, I will say, that I believed ever since season five that the only way to end House appropriately, Greg House needed to die. And I have to say, the way the writers ended this series I did not see coming. So, for that, I tip my hat to them, and thank them for eight years of amazing writing, acting, imagination, and design. The show will be missed, and I feel the show has easily made it into the hall of fame of legendary programming. Like the show said, “You can’t always get wait you want, but if you try sometimes, you get what you need.”And we, the viewers, got exactly what we needed. I wish every single person ever involved in this show the best in all they go on to do. Thank you again, cast and crew!](http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4en46hcZb1qayg1jo1_250.gif)

[Everybody Dies]
SERIES FINALE
^SPOILER ALERT!^
So this is it.
The finale of finales.
How do I review an episode that ties up an entire eight year storyline?
I won’t try to.
All I will say is that I was happy to see so many cameos from past cast members:
Kutner, Amber, Stacy, Masters, Cameron, Remy, and Blythe.
Also, I will say, that I believed ever since season five that the only way to end House appropriately, Greg House needed to die. And I have to say, the way the writers ended this series I did not see coming. So, for that, I tip my hat to them, and thank them for eight years of amazing writing, acting, imagination, and design.

Like the show said,
“You can’t always get wait you want, but if you try sometimes, you get what you need.”
And we, the viewers, got exactly what we needed.
I wish every single person ever involved in this show the best in all they go on to do.

![(Saturday Night Live, Season 37; Episode 22)[Host: Mick Jagger][Musical Guest: Mick Jagger, Arcade Fire, Foo Fighters, and Jeff Beck]SEASON FINALE An end of an era. It is very sad to see Kristen Wiig leave. She will be so severely missed. It’s painful to think about. But just like the many greats before her, she will never be replaced. Goodbye, Kristen! Us fans wish you the best in anything you do. Thank you for the laughs. A decent season finale. The Lawrence Welk Show skit with Fred Armisen, Jon Hamm, Kate McKinnon, Abby Elliot, Nasim Pedrad, Vanessa Bayer, and Kristen Wiig is a fantastic reoccurring skit. It really is just a hilarious mess of comedy. Mick Jagger’s monologue was funny, concise, and fairly short. I liked it. The Secret Word sketch with Vanessa, Taran Killam, Bill Hader, Kristen, and Mick was comical, decent, and a nice reoccurring sketch, as usual. The Karaoke skit with Fred, Kristen, Vanessa, Mick, Taran, and Bobby was really funny, and it made quite a serious bit of good fun of Mick’s persona. The SNL Digital Short with Andy Samberg and Chris Parnell doing Lazy Sunday 2 was actually quite good. It was nice to see the sequel to Lazy Sunday, and that Parnell came back to give Andy a possible good send-off. The Politics Nation sketch with Kenan Thompson as Al Sharpton, Mick, Fred as Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and Jason Sudeikis was decent, but it could have been better. Weekend Update with Seth Meyers, and Bill as Stefan, was not the greatest Update; but watching Bill break character as Stefan is always good. Definitely wasn’t the worst Update I’ve seen. The So You Think You Can Dance at an Outdoor Musical Festival skit with Bill as David Matthews, Fred as Carlos Santana, Abby as Jewel Kilcher, Mick as Steven Tyler, Kristen, Bobby, and Taran was weird, but also strangely funny. The Californians sketch with Bill, Kristen, Andy, Fred, Vanessa, Mick, Kenan, Abby, and Steve Martin is a humorous reoccurring sketch, but because no broke character as much as last time it wasn’t as funny. Though Steve Martin definitely made this one of the greatest sketches of the night. The Graduation/Goodbye Kristen skit with Mick, Kristen, Arcade Fire, Jay, Taran, Bobby, Nasim, Kate, Vanessa, Abby, Bill, Kenan, Seth, Fred, Jason, Andy, Lorne Michaels, Steve Martin, Chris Kattan, Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, Chris Parnell, Foo Fighters, and Jon Hamm was just a beautiful goodbye to the fabulous Kristen Wiig. I had literal tears seeing Kristen cry with Bill, Jason, Lorne, and many more of her cast members. You’ll be missed Kristen! Mick Jagger with Arcade Fire was good. Mick sounds older, sure, but he obviously still has it. And Arcade Fire complimented Mick really good with their take on The Rolling Stones’ The Last Time. Very enjoyable to listen to. Mick Jagger with Foo Fighters was very impressive. It was a great mixture of Foo Fighters and Mick. Excellent covers of The Rolling Stones’ 19th Nervous Breakdown and It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll (But I Like It). Mick Jagger with Jeff Beck was ok. It was strange to hear Mick sing about specific new events, but it was still a great performance. Jeff Beck delivered some fantastic guitar licks as well. Overall, this was a fairly nice season finale, but I do think Will Ferrell’s previous episode was much better and had better skits and sketches. Which is unfortunate. I look forward to season 38, and any new cast members Lorne brings in. Enjoy the summer guys!](http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4ax0ynbQb1qayg1jo1_250.gif)
